Broadway Bound, an intensive dance workshop, was sponsored by The Rotary Club of Stratford in the fall of 2005 and the fall of 2006. Broadway Bound was coordinated and run by Heidi Ford who played Diana in Anne at the Confederation Centre for several seasons, and who also performed in the hit musical Canada Rocks. Most recently, on the island, Heidi has played a lead role in Anne and Gilbert in Summerside. 

Heidi’s motivation in the creation of Broadway Bound was to provide up and coming dancers and performers on Prince Edward Island with a venue to showcase their talents. The Rotary Club of Stratford was pleased to provide some funding and personnel to realize this goal and to lend our support to these highly-talented young people. Both Broadway Bound shows featured guest performers such as Terry Hatty and Richard Wood, and they were held at the Stratford Town Centre. Some of the proceeds from both shows went to the Stratford Youth-Can-Do group.
